Responsibilities

• Maintains the indoor and outdoor environment as appropriate for school age children care, supervision, and activities.
•  Makes arragements for rest, quiet, and active activities
• Help children develop independence in preparing activities
• Maintain accurate records of children while in attendance
• Accepts other duties assigned by program manager, director, or assistant to director

Requirements

• Maintain 12 semester hours in early childhood education or child development from an accredited college or university, or a child development associate credential with work experience in a daycare center. At least one year experience 
• Maintain a current food handler’s certificate
• First Aid/CPR certified
• Demonstrates ability wo work with other staff and evidence of training, knowledge, skills, and aptitude to relate to young children and perform the task required of this position’s description
• Must present evidence of good physical and mental condition as required by state regulations and be of good moral character.
